*1. Who are you and what is your situation?
I am the Missionary and Community Coordinator for "Aldeias Solidárias" (Solidarity Villages) in Mutua, Sofala Province, Mozambique. Every day, we witness the severe impact of food shortages affecting families in our region. Droughts and the local economic crisis have left hundreds of households unable to provide basic daily nourishment for their children.
*2. What is your specific need?
Our most urgent need is to secure emergency food supplies—rice, beans, cooking oil, cornmeal, and vegetables—to keep the community nutrition center running continuously over the next 3 months. Without these resources, dozens of children go every day without their only hot meal.
*3. How will the funds be used?
Every donated amount will be allocated with complete transparency as follows:
* 65%for purchasing bags of grains, cereals, and nutritious ingredients.
* **20% for food transportation logistics from the urban center to Mutua.
* 15% for kitchen utensils, clean drinking water, and cooking gas cylinders for safe food preparation.

With this fundraiser, we will eliminate the crying caused by hunger at the Mutua community center. In addition to improving the children's health and immunity against malnutrition, the program will allow them to stay in school and focus on their studies, rather than searching for sustenance on the streets.

*350+ children are served daily by our community kitchen.
* $15 (approx. 950 MT) guarantees complete daily meals for 1 child for an entire month.
*$150 (approx. 9,500 MT) guarantees daily food for 10 children for a month.
