From a Shack to a home- Help Stella Build A Safe House for Her Kids.

I’m a mother doing everything I can to give my children a safer, better life. We currently live in a small shack that is not a secure place to raise a family. I’m asking for your kindness and support to help us build a safe, stable home where my children can grow with dignity, comfort and hope. Every donation brings us one step closer.

Hello, my name is Stella Velephi Gwala.
I am a mother from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and I am writing this with a hopeful heart and tears in my eyes.
Right now, my children and I live in a shack. It is made of tin and wood. When it rains hard in Durban, the water comes inside. When it is cold, we feel every bit of it. When the sun is too hot, the shack becomes an oven. I have tried to make it beautiful for them, I have tried to make it a home, but I know in my heart - my children deserve more than this. They deserve safety.
I want them to have a door that locks properly at night. A floor that is dry. Walls that will not shake in the wind. A small home they can be proud to bring friends to.
I am doing everything I can, with my own hands.
I work remotely whenever I get a contract. I wake up early, I work late, I save every rand I can. I have also tried to start small businesses to keep us going. But it has been so hard, Stella's story is one of trying. Contracts end without warning, customers are few, and the cost of everything is rising. No matter how hard I push, I cannot save the full amount needed to build alone.
That is why today, I am putting my pride aside and asking you - please help me.
My goal is €18,000 to build a small, decent house for my children.
This is not for luxury. This is for dignity and safety.

1. Building Materials: Bricks, cement, roofing sheets, windows and doors
2. Labour: Paying honest local builders in my community
3. Basic Finishing: Plastering, flooring, and paint
4. Essentials: A small toilet, bathroom, and safe electrical connection
