📖 L'histoire complète
Hello everyone,
My name is Leticia, and I am writing with a hopeful heart to ask for your support for my sweet Yorkshire, Nina, who is currently 9y3m old. Nina is my most faithful companion and the light of my life.
Recently, Nina developed a sudden orthopedic/patellar condition. The veterinarian explained that, due to her age, her leg joint gave out unexpectedly, leaving her in constant pain and barely able to walk on her front leg. Seeing her limp and struggle breaks my heart every day.
According to her vet, performing surgical intervention within the next 3 months is crucial to stop her suffering, prevent irreversible joint damage, and give her back her mobility.
I live in Brazil, where specialized veterinary orthopedic procedures are exceptionally costly compared to local earnings. The high cost of emergency surgery, medical imaging, and rehab makes it impossible for me to cover everything alone. This is why I am reaching out to the global community for help.
To maintain full transparency, every single penny raised will go directly toward Nina’s medical care:
- Orthopedic Surgery & Anesthesia: €2,300 (Surgeon fees, specialized implants/materials, and full anesthesia monitoring)
- Pre-Operative Care & Diagnostics: €550 (X-rays, blood tests, cardiac evaluation, and consultations)
- Post-Operative Recovery & Rehabilitation: €800 (Physiotherapy sessions, anti-inflammatory/pain relief meds, and progress X-rays)
- Transfer & Platform Fees: €350 (International transfer charges and platform processing fees)
Getting this surgery within the 3-month window will completely transform Nina's quality of life.
I am attaching video evidence of her current condition, along with her veterinary notes and diagnostics.
Even a small donation of €5 or €10 brings us significantly closer to her treatment. If you cannot donate right now, sharing Nina's link with your friends and communities would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your empathy, kindness, and support!
With love and gratitude,
Leticia & Nina
