📋 About this project

Hani Abu Awad, a father of six and former director of an educational center, lost his home and work when the war destroyed everything. Despite this, he created a small learning space in a displacement camp to keep children’s education alive. He now seeks support to continue teaching, provide supplies, and rebuild a safe home for his family.

📖 Full story

My name is Hani Abu Awad, a father of six. Before the war, I dedicated my life to education, working as the director of a local educational center. Every day, I watched children learn, laugh, and dream about a better future. Their smiles were my motivation.

Then the war came.
In a single moment, everything changed. My home was damaged, my educational center was destroyed, and my family was left without a safe place to live. Losing our home and our livelihood was devastating, but seeing children without schools and classrooms was even harder.

I could not stand by and let their education stop.
With very limited resources, I started a small educational initiative in a displacement camp, teaching children inside tents.

Every day, I see their eagerness to learn, their hope, and their determination despite the hardship around them. Their resilience inspires me to keep going.
But I cannot do this alone.
I am asking for your help to:
• Continue teaching displaced children, giving them the tools and support they need
• Provide books, school supplies, and a safe learning space
• Rebuild my damaged home so my family can live safely and regain stability
Your support, no matter how small, can bring hope back to children and restore our family home. Together, we can turn destruction into education, and despair into opportunity.
Every donation counts. Every child deserves a chance to learn. Every family deserves a safe home.
Thank you for standing with us.
