📋 À propos de ce projet

We are ASUCO ASBL, a community-based organization in Goma supporting women through savings groups and small catalytic grants. This month, 5 women are ready to rebuild their small businesses but lack the final support. We are raising $500 to provide $100 each and help them regain stability and dignity.

📖 L'histoire complète

In Goma, in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, many women are working every day to rebuild their lives after economic and personal shocks.

ASUCO ASBL is a community-based organization supporting women through savings groups combined with small catalytic grants that help them restart or strengthen their income-generating activities.

Since the beginning of this year, we have already supported 64 women through this approach.

Our objective for the first quarter of 2026 is to reach 75 women.

As we approach the end of this quarter, a small but critical gap remains.

👉 11 women are still waiting for support.

Among them is a widow running a small activity selling a local maize-based drink. After facing a series of difficult events, she lost part of her working capital and struggled to maintain her business.

Despite this, she continues to show up in her savings group, to save what she can, and to rebuild step by step.

She is not alone.

Several women in our program are ready to move forward. They have the discipline, the structure, and the motivation.

What they lack is a small, timely financial support to unlock their next step.

Through this campaign, we aim to support at least 5 women before the end of April 2026.

Each woman will receive approximately $100 as catalytic support to:

• Restart or stabilize her small business
• Increase her capacity to save
• Strengthen her economic resilience

This means that $500 can directly support 5 women in regaining stability and rebuilding their livelihoods.

At ASUCO ASBL, we believe that small, well-targeted support can create meaningful and lasting impact.

Because behind each contribution, there is more than financial help — there is dignity, resilience, and the possibility to move forward.

Thank you for standing with women in Goma.
