Tokumma Water project

I am working to bring water to four villages in Odaa Bultum, West Hararghe Zone: Bosooso, Shunqoo, Barbarree, and Haroore. Currently, the people in these villages have no water source. Women and children walk 12 hours (30-40 kilometers) every day to collect dirty water.

I am Ethiopian. I was living in Norway. I returned to my people and found them walking a full day just to bring filthy water that makes them sick.

There is no well. No pump. Nothing.

Mothers sleep on the road. Children don't go to school because they walk for water.

I started Tokkummaa Water Project.

I am not famous. I am not rich. But my heart does not sleep while they are thirsty.

The Prophet ﷺ said: "The best charity is giving water."

One well = ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah). Every time someone drinks, you earn rewards.

I ask Allah, then I ask you: help me dig the first well.
