Urgent: Help Us Restore Our Flooded Home in Douala (Cameroon)

I am raising funds to help my family in Douala, Cameroon, whose home was severely damaged by repeated flooding during the rainy season. Living in Germany, I support them as much as I can, but the reconstruction costs are far beyond my means. The funds will be used to stabilize the house, repair the roof, walls and floors, and protect the building from future flooding.

Our family in Douala (Cameroon) is facing a very difficult situation. During the rainy season, there were heavy floods almost every day, causing severe damage to our home. Each time it rains, water enters all the rooms. The walls are soaked, the floor is weakened, and the house no longer provides safe protection for my family.
I live in Germany and support my family as much as I can, but the cost of the necessary reconstruction is more than I can manage alone. We are urgently asking for help to:
stabilize the house
repair or rebuild the roof, walls, and floors
protect the building from future flooding
give my family a safe and dry home again

Notre famille à Douala, au Cameroun, traverse une période extrêmement difficile.
Pendant la saison des pluies, des inondations presque quotidiennes ont gravement endommagé notre maison. L’eau s’infiltre dans toutes les pièces à chaque pluie. Les murs sont détrempés, le sol est affaissé et la maison n’offre plus un refuge sûr.
Je vis aujourd’hui en Allemagne et j’aide ma famille du mieux que je peux.
Mais les coûts nécessaires pour réparer et sécuriser la maison dépassent largement mes moyens. C’est pourquoi nous faisons appel à votre générosité pour :

Unsere Familie in Douala (Kamerun) steht vor einer schweren und belastenden Situation.
Während der Regenzeit kam es fast täglich zu Überschwemmungen, die unser Zuhause so stark beschädigt haben, dass es kaum noch bewohnbar ist. Bei jedem Regen dringt Wasser in alle Räume ein. Die Wände sind durchnässt, der Boden ist aufgeweicht und das Haus bietet keinen sicheren Schutz mehr.
Ich lebe in Deutschland und unterstütze meine Familie so gut ich kann. Doch die Kosten für den notwendigen Wiederaufbau übersteigen meine Möglichkeiten. Deshalb bitten wir dringend um Hilfe, um:

Dach, Wände und Boden zu erneuern
das Gebäude gegen zukünftige Überschwemmungen zu schützen
