📋 À propos de ce projet
I am a new medical graduate with no steady income yet. My father has suffered from a strangulated inguino-scrotal hernia for 5 years, and now it is life-threatening. I need funds for his emergency surgery to save my father before it's too late.
📖 L'histoire complète
Who am I?
I am a new graduate from medical school. I earned my medical degree after years of hard work and dedication. I dreamed of the day I would put on the white coat and save lives. But I never imagined that the first patient I would be unable to save would be my own father.
My father is a simple, poor man, but rich in faith. He prays Fajr on time, fasts, and cries in the depths of the night. He raised me to love knowledge and religion. He would go hungry so his children could eat. He never complained.
What is the problem?
Five years ago, my father developed an inguino-scrotal hernia.
Let me explain in simple words: A hernia happens when part of the intestine pushes through a weak spot in the lower belly and bulges down into the scrotum (the sac that holds the testicles). It looks like a painful swelling. It can feel like something is tearing inside.
At first, it was small. He hid the pain from me because he knew I was a student with no money. He endured it, bandaged his wound in silence, and smiled in my face. And the hernia grew bigger every year.
Now, the hernia has strangulated. That means the intestine is now trapped so tightly that blood cannot reach it. The tissue is starting to die. This is a medical emergency.
The doctor said: "If you do not perform the surgery within days, your father will die."
I am a doctor. I know that a strangulated hernia can kill its victim within hours if not treated. I know everything about this condition. But my knowledge means nothing when my pocket is empty.
I did not see this coming. I thought I would graduate, find a job, save money, and then perform the surgery. But fate overtook me.
How will the funds be used?
I will use the donations to cover:
Item Cost
Emergency surgery €5,000
Hospital stay (3–5 days) €1,500
Pre-op tests and medications €1,000
Transport and emergency expenses €500
Total €8,000
What impact will this fundraiser have?
If the campaign succeeds, I will save my father's life. He will live to see me become a successful doctor. After the surgery, he will sit on his prayer mat, cry with joy, and pray for everyone who contributed.
But if I fail... It will be extremely painful if I can afford the surgery later, after a year or two, but my father is no more. I do not want to spend the rest of my life blaming myself: "If only I had raised the money faster, if only I had asked for help earlier."
Why now?
Because every day that passes increases the risk of his death. The doctor gave him only days. I do not have time to wait for my first salary. I have no loan. I have no one to help me.
That is why I am here, writing these words with tears in my eyes. I am asking for your help.
Donate, even a little. And share the campaign. Perhaps God will relieve my distress through your generosity.
