📖 Historia completa

Hi 🌼

We are creating this campaign to ask for help with the costs of Naruo’s treatment. Naruo is our beloved cat, and he is currently facing a very serious and urgent health situation.

About two years ago, Naruo suffered a severe urinary obstruction. At that time, he was in critical condition, with hypothermia and difficulty breathing, and needed emergency veterinary care. Thankfully, he recovered.

Now, in 2026, the nightmare has returned. On May 29, Naruo once again showed signs of urinary obstruction and had to be rushed to the vet. He underwent an emergency procedure to relieve the obstruction, bladder flushing, medication, and observation.

A few days later, he became obstructed again. We took him to another veterinarian, who performed an ultrasound and found changes that appeared to be bladder stones. Naruo started medication and was prescribed a complete change in diet, including special urinary food, which is essential to help prevent future crises.

The next day, Naruo had another acute obstruction. He received urgent care again, had a catheter placed, and was referred for surgery because there was concern that his bladder would need to be opened to remove the suspected stones.

During surgery, however, the veterinarian found something much more worrying. When she opened his bladder, she did not find any stones. Instead, she found that his bladder was severely inflamed, extremely fragile, bleeding heavily, and filled with tumor-like formations. Because of the risk, she was not able to perform a biopsy at that moment. His bladder was so delicate that even closing it was difficult.

Naruo now needs to be evaluated by a veterinary oncologist so we can understand the next steps. This may include a specialist consultation, a possible biopsy, new exams, medications, and further treatment. We still do not know exactly what lies ahead, but the costs are already very high and are likely to continue increasing.

At the moment, Naruo still has a catheter, is wearing surgical clothing and a diaper, and needs constant care. He is also taking antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medication, and other prescribed treatments. We also need to cover the costs of special urinary food, medications, hygiene supplies, diapers, consultations, exams, and possible oncology care.

In addition to Naruo, our family also cares for other animals at home and feeds stray cats that come to our gate and roof. We do this because we cannot bear to see animals hungry, but our financial situation was already difficult before all of these unexpected veterinary expenses.

Any help makes a huge difference. No amount is too small, and every donation helps with Naruo’s treatment, exams, medication, special food, and the care he needs right now.

If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign would also help us so much.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, helping, sharing, and keeping Naruo in your thoughts. 💜
