I am Fortunate Nombuso, a young South African entrepreneur and the founder of Fortunate’s Mobile Spa, a business I started to bring affordable wellness and beauty services directly to our community. I am raising €19,000 (approximately R350,000) to establish a professional wellness space, purchase essential equipment, improve the business, and create opportunities for employment.

My name is Fortunate Nombuso, and I am a 24-year-old entrepreneur from South Africa, with a dream of building something meaningful not only for myself and my mother, but for the people in our community.

In 2024, my mother and I took a leap of faith and started Fortunate’s Mobile Spa. We began with a simple idea: to bring affordable massage and beauty treatments directly to people in the comfort of their homes. What started small has become a business that has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, service and believing in a dream even when resources are limited.

Running a mobile spa has allowed us to serve clients, but it has also shown us the limitations of operating without our own professional space. We dream of having a beautiful, safe and welcoming wellness centre where clients can relax, receive quality treatments and feel cared for.

We are now ready to take the next step from a mobile service to a professional wellness space and growing wellness brand.

I am raising approximately €19,000 (R350,000) to help us secure and prepare a suitable premises, purchase professional spa equipment and supplies, create a welcoming environment, strengthen our branding and marketing, and establish the foundation needed to grow the business sustainably.
