Many nights were extremely difficult, with very little sleep and almost no opportunity to rest. I carried the responsibility mostly alone, without family support, childcare help, or anyone who could step in when I was exhausted.
Over time, I reached a point where I knew I had to choose a safer and healthier life for my son and myself.
Now I am facing the challenges that came after leaving: divorce, legal proceedings, and a difficult fight to protect my child’s wellbeing and future. The legal process has become financially overwhelming, with lawyer fees, court expenses, and ongoing costs that continue to grow.
I am also trying to recover from financial difficulties that were left behind after the relationship ended. There were moments when we were left without enough money for basic needs and without reliable transportation.
