📖 L'histoire complète
Three Fingers Crossed is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to creating lasting change by addressing the interconnected challenges of youth unemployment, crime, and poverty. We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, and hope. Three Fingers Crossed is a charitable organisation focusing on Youth and Child development in less previledged communities surrounding Centurion. We are partner with institutions like Eduplustutor.co.za to provide academic support, mentorship and wellness programs. Our campaing is to raise enough money to procure and distribute 4000 packets of sanitary pads amoung school children. Every month, millions of South African girls miss school simply because they cannot afford sanitary pads, forcing them to fall behind in their studies and often dropping out entirely—but we are on a mission to change this by purchasing 4,000 packets of pads and distributing them directly to underprivileged schools in our community. We have secured a bulk price of just R5 per packet, meaning our total fundraising target is R20,000, and because BackaBuddy has waived its platform fees for this campaign, every single cent raised will go directly toward buying these pads. For just R5, you can provide one girl with a month of dignity; R60 covers a full year for one girl; and R500 ensures 100 girls have pads for an entire month, keeping them in class, protecting their confidence, and giving them an equal chance at an education. By donating, you are not just buying pads—you are breaking the cycle of period poverty, empowering a young woman to finish school, and building a brighter future for her family and community.
