My name is Anthony. I am in my 30s, and I live in Lagos, Nigeria.
I thought I had life figured out, until about two years ago when I left my job due to health issues and everything started falling apart. Facing the challenge of having to start over, I chose to channel my survival instinct into a mission larger than myself.
Looking at my city, I saw an environment choking on plastic waste. I realized my personal comeback could align perfectly with our planet’s need for renewal. This campaign is my shot to rebuild my life with dignity while cleaning up my city from the ground up by launching a grassroots plastic recycling enterprise.
The Specific Need & Budget: To move from manual picking to mechanised processing, I need foundational capital for entry-level machinery.

Processing Equipment (55%)
Industrial plastic shredder and heavy-duty weighing scales.
Collection & Logistics (25%)
Deploying branded collection bins at city markets/schools and initial waste transport.
Safety & Site (20%)
Protective gear for collectors and a small yard space for material sorting
I plan to process 5,000kg of plastic in our first 90 days, creating local jobs and providing immediate, reliable income for community waste pickers.
This will result in cleaner waterways and prevent severe seasonal flooding by clearing plastic from city drains.
